A large OLED display and protected enclosure

The 2868 × 1320 OLED display combines ProMotion up to 120Hz with an anti-reflective coating and up to 3000 nits of peak outdoor brightness. It is described as 6.9 inches diagonally; measured as a standard rectangle, it is 6.86 inches, and the rounded corners reduce the actual viewable area. An aluminum unibody surrounds the Ceramic Shield 2 front and Ceramic Shield back.

Variable-aperture photography and professional video formats

The rear system uses 48MP Fusion Main, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto cameras for 24 mm, 13 mm, and 100 mm views. The Main camera offers f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0 aperture settings, alongside controls for shutter speed and white balance. An 8x telephoto-enabled mode produces 12MP optical-quality images at a 200 mm equivalent view; it is distinct from the native 4x telephoto lens.

Fusion Main records 4K Dolby Vision at up to 120 fps, while ProRes reaches 4K at 120 fps with external recording. ProRes RAW needs a compatible app, and Genlock needs compatible third-party hardware and software; Apple Log 2 is also supported. The 18MP Center Stage front camera adds Center Stage for video calls, with the front-camera recording modes listed separately in Specifications.

A20 Pro, iOS 27, and regional AI requirements

A20 Pro combines a 6-core CPU, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. The phone runs iOS 27 and authenticates with Face ID through TrueDepth technology in the front camera. Apple Intelligence requires the device and Siri languages to match a supported language, and features vary by language and region. For this version purchased outside China mainland, Apple Intelligence is unavailable while in mainland China when the Apple Account region is also China mainland. Server-based features have daily usage limits, with expanded access planned for a future fee.

Siri AI is a beta feature in iOS 27, initially available in English with matching device and Siri language settings. Activation requires an eligible Apple Account region and a waitlist, with variable waiting times. It is unavailable on iOS in the European Union and with a China mainland Apple Account; some cloud features also have daily usage limits. These requirements are separate from the broader iOS interface language support.

Battery runtime and charging equipment

Apple lists up to 43 hours of video playback, up to 38 hours of streamed video playback, and up to 29 hours of typical use. Runtime changes with use, configuration, network, and signal conditions. The box includes a 1 m USB-C Charge Cable, while the required power adapter is sold separately.

Wired charging can reach up to 50% in around 15 minutes with a 60W-capable USB-C cable and a 60W-capable or higher USB PD 3.1 or later adapter that supports Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS). MagSafe can reach up to 50% in 30 minutes with a MagSafe Charger and a 35W or higher adapter, both sold separately. MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging support up to 25W with compatible equipment; charging times and performance depend on the accessories, settings, use, and environment.

Hong Kong configurations and connectivity

A3717 has a physical nano-SIM tray and supports nano-SIM plus eSIM or dual eSIM. It does not use two physical SIM cards; eSIM requires carrier support and a wireless service plan. Sub-6 GHz 5G depends on the market, carrier, and data plan, and Wi-Fi 7 depends on regional support. USB 3 transfers at up to 10Gb/s require a USB 3 cable rated for 10Gb/s.
