The ASPTA-20 Smartphone Tripod Adapter from Oben lets you securely mount your smartphone onto a wide variety of platforms like a tripod, monopod, and tripod head. And to ensure compatibility, the ASPTA-20 can mount to these platforms via the Arca-type base or either of the standard 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threaded holes in the mounting plate.
Mounting your smartphone is quick and easy. The clamp-style holder is adjustable and spring-loaded, accommodating smartphones from 2.4 to 3.7″ wide – in or out of a case. When inside the holder, your smartphone gets additional protection from the curved edges that work to keep the phone from slipping out. The interior is also foam-lined, safeguarding the finish of your phone while providing extra grip.
Safely fastening a smartphone to your platform of choice is not where the capabilities of this adapter end. Additional features, such as an integrated ball joint, lets you pivot the phone in a variety of positions. A locking knob on the clamp secures it into place so you can get the precise shot you want.
